My eight year old is and has always been super active from the minutes he wakes up, his shoes just don't last, forget the cheap supermarket brands, shoes from Clarkes and Next don't last much longer either. I'm hoping these will live up to all the positive reviews I've read. They certainly look and feel a well made quality shoe. The rubber protection is going to help. Even if he gets 6 months out of these, I'll be well happy. Early signs are positive. He loves wearing them, finds them comfortable and no sweaty feet!
