I have a TON of polo sneakers, and I love them all, these included. That said, I have a few issues with this pair that I'm not sure if they are a manufacturing issue or if they're just how this pair is made.
1. The laces, the black and yellow laces look GREAT with this shoe, but the way they're made, they're odd when tied and don't hold a knot very well. I've had them untie on me several times in the 2 days I've worn them (and I generally double knot my shoes).
2. The white rubber that goes around the bottom back of the shoe. Ive worn these for 2 days so far, and the rubber is already shredding and falling off of the shoe. The first layer of the "stripe" has now ripped off. I understand that shoes are on the ground and theres wear and tear but it hasn't even been 48 full hours (today is the 2nd day I'm wearing them). There should not be pieces falling off of the shoe in day 2. See added photo for what I'm talking about (I walk around NYC during the day, hence why these are as dirty as they are on day 2)
The rest of the shoe appears to be made just like any of the other polo shoes i have. They look nice and are comfortable to be walking around in all day. I'll certainly still buy plenty more polo shoes but I think I'll just like this pair a little less than the others.
