The Rio model, the popular and extremely stylish sandal from BIRKENSTOCK, has now been adapted to the needs of children. This successful model boasts two adjustment options. Thanks to individually adjustable metal buckles, two straps – one in the ankle/heel area and one over the instep – ensure that the shoe is a perfect fit for every foot and that it gives active kids firm support with every step they take. Cut-out sections on the front strap underscore the light, summery look and ensure that children's feet get plenty of fresh air on hot days.
Color blocking is the watchword behind the unique and stylish shaft design in neon colors. The upper is made of skin-friendly Birko-Flor®. A glowing finish in stylish colors is combined with glistening white to make the Rio a real eye-catcher. The underside is lined with an exceptionally soft and smooth layer of fleece. Thanks to the individually adjustable metal buckle in a contrasting color, the shoe can be made to perfectly fit any foot. The anatomically formed original BIRKENSTOCK footbed with a flexible cork-latex core makes the sandal a light and summery companion that offers outstanding comfort. This is further boosted by the light-colored, flexible EVA outsole, which offers an elegant contrast to the upper material while enabling an optimum rolling motion for kids' feet.
